Founded in 2011 after reigniting a lifelong passion for custom diecast cars, CS Customs has grown into a trusted name for unique, high-quality collector pieces.
MEET CHRIS STANGLER
CEO / Founder
Chris is a passionate creator of one-of-a-kind custom diecast collectibles, turning miniature cars into cherished works of art for enthusiasts around the world. His fascination with diecast customizing began in 1991, and after a short break, he reignited that passion in 2011, giving birth to CS Customs.
Chris’s mission is clear: to deliver exceptional, affordable custom diecast creations that spark nostalgia and genuine emotion among collectors.
Alongside traditional customs, Chris and CS Customs have made strides to welcome more diverse collectors into the community. In 2024, Chris launched a line of customs designed to appeal specifically to women collectors, along with events and gatherings to highlight their contributions. This vision evolved into the Die-cast Diva program, with dedicated events and activities supporting women’s involvement in the diecast hobby.
With each annual convention, including the 5th Annual Convention in June 2025, Chris continues to build a vibrant, inclusive, and passionate collector community. His unique approach blends artistry, storytelling, and engineering to create memorable, limited-run diecast masterpieces that stand apart from mass-produced models.

I met Chris at a local show in 2019. I picked up 4 of his customs. He was sold out of 1 that I was interested in so he took my info and told me he had one at his shop he’d ship to me. That started a great friendship. Chris’s work is awesome and he is always looking for feedback and ways to improve and give the people a product they will love! If you have never seen his work you would be amazed at the artwork and paint skills. His gloss is second to none! He also has brought people in the collectors community together through online War games and his conventions that I have had the privilege to attend and help out at.

I’ve been collecting many years now, and the way I collect has changed over the years. I’ve learned to collect what I like! I met Chris some years ago because I picked up a custom 55 Gasser that was a custom. I thought the paint was amazing, and the details looking at it. One of my buddies told me Chris Stangler did the custom, and at the next Convention he would introduce me to him. Well that day came, and I brought a matching paint pen to the paint on the car. I asked Chris if he would Autograph it for me? He said of course which lead to a long conversation, let’s just say I had a new buddy lol! He was so down to earth, and humble for being one of the Best Customizers in the Game! Now many years later, and probably over a hundred of his cars all Autographed, I would say I have such a great collection! Everytime we get together it’s not always about the cars, it’s about the conversations, and life experiences the cars are just the bonus! Each car I have from him is from a different experience, and when I see it, then it reminds me of when, and we’re I got it! Great Customizer, and Great Friend!
